In the year 1969, under the patronage of His Eminence the late Cardinal Joseph Parecattil, an ambitious project was set up in concrete to quench the thirst of music and art lovers. Baptised as The Christian Arts Club, this fine arts center got renamed as 'Kalabhavan'.
The Kalabhavan Qatar School of Music & Arts W.L.L. comes as a result of a group of rare people, whose strong passion for arts and music goes with them wherever they go. Every person is gifted with a few talents by God. These gifts have to be identified, nurtured and allowed to bloom. It opens a never before opportunity for the inspired and interested people, who yearn to learn from the experts. And we give you the promise, that when you learn from us, you learn it with perfection. Henceforth, Kalabhavan Qatar can also be redefined as the 'synonym of Perfection'.

Kalabhavan Qatar provides courses amongst others for Carnatic Music, Cinematic Dance, Classical Dance, Drawing & Painting, Guitar, Keyboard, Mrudangam, Tabla, Drum and Violin.
